Partner checks and insurance information

Transport Partners may provide insurance type, cover limit and cover dates. These details and their check status appear on the public partner profile. Self-declared information has not been independently checked. Partners can update or withdraw it through Checks & insurance.

Where private document review is enabled, insurance schedules are used to review the stated cover and help prevent misleading claims. Documents are available only to the submitting partner and authorised Fairdo administrators; they are not published on profiles. Files are encrypted in active storage, removed within 30 days of submission, and removed earlier when replaced or withdrawn. Insurance check records are removed within one year after policy expiry, and access/review audit events after one year. Restricted backups may retain deleted information until the backup retention period ends.

We do not request passports or driving licences through this insurance form. Identity and business checks are recorded separately. Before document uploads are enabled, Fairdo must finalise the lawful basis, access and retention arrangements (including backups), and rights information in this production notice.

Identity verification with Stripe

When enabled, Fairdo uses Stripe Identity to help prevent impersonation and fraud. You submit your identity document and selfie directly to Stripe. Stripe processes identity information, facial images and device information under its privacy policy. Fairdo does not download or store copies of your ID or selfie through this integration. Authorised Stripe Dashboard users may still have access to verification information.

Fairdo stores a verification reference, status and timestamps linked to your account. Your public profile displays the check status, not your identity documents. Passing this check does not verify insurance, driving entitlement, business details, email or phone ownership.

Before starting, read Stripe’s privacy policy. If you cannot complete the selfie check, want to discuss another verification method, or request access or deletion, contact info@fairdo.com. Do not send identity documents by email. Verification records held by Stripe require a separate redaction process; deleting a Fairdo account alone does not delete Stripe-held data.

You can request deletion of a linked verification from your identity-check screen. This withdraws your Fairdo identity check; Stripe’s redaction process may take up to four days. Contact Stripe support separately about information Stripe holds for its own purposes. Account deletion and other privacy requests can be sent to info@fairdo.com.

Scheduled retention: Fairdo requests deletion of its Stripe-held verification data 30 days after the session starts, with retries if Stripe is processing the check or unavailable. Stripe may take up to four further days after accepting deletion. A minimal result and session reference may remain for up to one year from the session start; the cleanup does not discard a reference while deletion is unconfirmed. Automatic image deletion does not itself revoke a passed result. A user-requested withdrawal removes the Stripe check status. Stripe may separately retain information for its own purposes, as described in its privacy information.

A human-review request can be made through Help under Identity verification. For an in-person review, an authorised reviewer inspects the original document, its validity, and the name and person match; we do not copy the document or record its number. Only the review result, reviewer, date and a non-sensitive reference are recorded. The arrangements must be agreed before review; no appointment or immediate service is promised.

Live identity collection remains disabled pending finalisation of Fairdo’s privacy notice, retention arrangements and alternative verification process.

Fairdo support

Support requests contain your account reference, topic, message history and, when relevant, delivery reference. They are available to you and authorised Fairdo administrators so we can respond and follow up. They are separate from customer–partner job messages. Email notifications, when configured, link to the support conversation without including its contents. Do not include identity documents, passwords or card details in support messages. Personalised matching

We use your saved vehicle, equipment, routes, available payload and journey dates to rank work. A small preference adjustment uses counts of your own quotes and completed jobs from the previous 90 days. It starts only after enough completed jobs and refreshes periodically. When personalisation is enabled, we also record which suggestions you view, their displayed position, optional feedback and subsequent quote and booking events to evaluate and improve matching. These additional records are kept for up to 90 days and deleted when you turn personalisation off. Unviewed suggestions and unfinished bookings are not treated as failed matches. Test activity is marked separately and excluded from real-world learning. You can turn this off in Matching preferences. It does not set prices, automatically accept jobs, or restrict browsing all jobs. No message contents or identity documents are used for this ranking. When road routing is enabled, journey coordinates are sent to Google Maps to estimate driving distance; this is not a guarantee of vehicle access or arrival time.
